Weaver dislocated her left shoulder in the warm-up before the original dance but was able to compete and the couple won the bronze medal. In the 2007–08 season, Weaver/Poje competed on the senior Grand Prix series at the 2008 Skate Canada International, where they placed 6th, and at the 2007 Trophée Eric Bompard, where they placed 7th.They won the silver medal at the 2008 Canadian Championships, placed 5th at the 2008 Four Continents, and 17th at the 2008 World Championships. But I think it made us a better team throughout the whole year, because we’ve gone through all this in such a short time and it prepared us for the future. Usually our season is filled with a lot of lessons. They said, you’ll be on the ice but you won’t be any good. And so half time almost made it more important in the fact that every moment was very efficient, very scheduled. She gave me a schedule from morning to night every single day. Obviously I lost all my muscle from my hip all the way down.It shows the strength that we have together as a couple and as individuals, because Kaitlyn to get back after her injury was such an amazing thing. We’ve gone through a lot together as a team, but this one especially is one that we thought when we set out this season we didn’t have the greatest start and to have the injury happen we were are a pretty bummed for a little bit, but we’ve learned so much, mostly – take nothing for granted. it’s unfortunate, I’ll probably have to take a couple of weeks off, maybe some (time) before Nationals. I was busy all through the day when I was doing after I had got my stitches out and do rehab. I think that with that determination and that ability to have the time to devote to it was very, very valuable. The doctors were like, there is now way, we can’t believe it. It was very, very strange to skate with one leg normal and one leg weak, very weak. He's from small town Ontario, right wing shithead country.
The Canadian team came back strong to finish 5th at the World Championships in their home country. When we set out our plan at the beginning of the season we didn’t imagine all the little bumps on the way. If I want to make it back, I have to do this very diligently.I think he was one of the guys who agreed to participate in the campaign for Skate Canada a few years ago to promote how masculine and tough skating really is. He and Kaitlyn Weaver are one of my favorite ice dancing teams.I am pretty sure that Andrew and Kaitlyn are a couple; they way Andrew looks at Kaitlyn seems like a boyfriend to me.In January 2008, they moved to Toronto to train with new coach Shae-Lynn Bourne. In the 2008–09 season, Weaver/Poje competed on the Grand Prix series at the 2008 Cup of China, where they placed 6th, and at the 2008 NHK Trophy, where they placed 7th.Andrew is totally fine (for some reason, his nose appeals to me), but I can't stand ice dancing. I know to many, figure skating in general is not a 'real' sport. But out of all the skating disciplines, ice dance is the least sport-worthy. Andrew kind of pings, but as mentioned before, he claimed to be straight a few years ago during the 'Get Tough' campaign by Skate Canada. Unlike Paul who is obviously gay, Andrew is more difficult to pin down. I'm looking forward to seeing Andrew and Kaitlyn this upcoming season. They went to the 2007 Canadian Championships and won the bronze medal in their first season together. They were placed on the team to the 2007 Junior Worlds.I don't know that Andrew and Kaitlyn are a couple, r17; they simply give off that vibe to me.Maybe Andrew and Kaitlyn are dating and keeping it very quiet; maybe they are attracted to each other but not acting on it.
