“Last fall, I went through a miscarriage,” she said tearfully on Good Morning America on Monday, June 20.

She then broke down into tears and grabbed some tissues before continuing, saying, "Goodness gracious." In an emotional interview, broadcast today, the 30-year-old American country star burst into tears as she said she had a miscarriage last year as she explained the inspiration for one of the band's new songs.
This summer, the country star is hitting the road to tour with Lady Antebellum.
"He never met a stranger," Scott says of the man she affectionately called Papaw.
"All of those years in South Carolina and 20 years in Nashville, he made so many friends.
The outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and complete strangers leaves me absolutely overwhelmed..I've been wading through waves of sadness as the weight of what happened to our family hits again," she wrote.
Today has been a mix of emotions, and I've chosen to let myself just soak them all in.
