Quickgpsfix not updating

Has anybody found that Quick GPS Fix actually results in faster acquisition of satellites? -Steve Has anybody found that Quick GPS Fix actually results in faster acquisition of satellites?

I've had it for several months now and I feel like it's just a little buggy - almost like my Tom Tom has more trouble starting up than not. I've had it for several months now and I feel like it's just a little buggy - almost like my Tom Tom has more trouble starting up than not.

The longer you go between Quickfix updates, the greater the error will be, and the greater the challenge to the GPS in identifying the signals.) With best wishes, - Tom - I had actually been syncing with Tom Tom Home to get the latest updates before setting out.

But something I discovered today after doing some fiddling around and research...

A spring now forces the card to come out far enough so that you can take hold of the card. All your settings are saved, so it’s a pretty non-intrusive update.Once the update is done you’ll be able to use the device just like normal. It happened to me last night when I was driving in a busy part of the city.It told me to take a right turn, which I did, and all of a sudden all I could see three lanes of headlights barrelling down towards me.I’ve been using the app for the past week, giving it a bit of a whirl after recent runs and rides. Note that this makes for the second company to introduce GPS watch workout to phone synchronization (the first being Garmin, Polar would make for the third upon release of their V800 in April). As I’ve noted previously, this will pretty much become the norm for companies by the end of the year. Please see the instructions for the card reader on how to connect it to your computer. When installed you can insert the memory card as documented in the manual for the card reader. It was such a close call, and could've ended up in an accident. i have the same problem but with my GPS "TOM TOM VIA 220" ... but then all of a sudden it stopped working and just says "waiting for a valid GPS signal" would anyone know whats causing this and or how to fix this?( its less than a year old and have only used it a few times prior to this problem) A Tom Tom can't lead you down a one way street.
