By default, all previously installed versions of Creative Cloud apps are removed and customized preferences and settings are migrated to the latest version.If you want to retain previously installed versions or not migrate settings, update the following options: When selected, applicable settings and preferences of your current apps are migrated automatically to the latest installed version.Sometimes the new updates don’t show up in the CC desktop or manager apps, hindering the upgrade.Other times, you may have the need to rebuild, restore, or rollback to a specific earlier CC version for various reasons.
Once installed, plug‑in modules appear as options on menus, in dialog boxes, or in panels.
Normally these upgrades happen smoothly and automatically for customers via the Creative Cloud Desktop app or Adobe Application Manager.
But as with any software, there occasionally can be exceptions.
Preferences and settings are migrated over to the new version, and the previous versions of the apps are uninstalled.
Use the Advanced options to specify the app update behavior.
