Updating your operating system

Users on a corporate network or running an illegal copy of Microsoft Windows may be unable to perform Microsoft Updates.If you are on a corporate network, contact your administrator if you are concerned about updating your computer.The latest version is Android 7 Nougat, which will become available for more devices over the coming months though can now get Android O in beta form.Marshmallow is 6.x, Lollipop is 5.x, Kit Kat is version 4.4.x, and 4.3, 4.2 and 4.1 are all Jelly Bean.Then, it is crucial that you set up Windows Update to automatically check for and prompt you to install updates.Make sure to install updates when prompted to do so as they are critical for computer security.

Step Two The Mac App Store will launch, and after searching, it will display a list of updates available.

Click the Update button, or if you want to install all the updates available for your computer, click the Update All button.

Step Three A popup will appear warning you that you will need to restart after the download is complete.
